Orthodontics (Braces) is the field of dentistry focused on treating badly aligned teeth or jaws using either braces & wires (transparent or metal) or clear aligners to set them into their correct places.
When the dental arch cannot accommodate the teeth, such as in the case of big teeth in a small jaw, the teeth will overlap, rotate, or project forwards or backward.
An orthodontic treatment, which is applying constant pressure upon teeth to move them in specific directions, ultimately aligns teeth perfectly.
